Unbelievable Success for Our 2025 Cork City Sports Team

What a day for our 2025 Cork City Sports Team. All of the training and hard work paid off!
The girls showed great commitment from the minute they started training. They showed fantastic leadership and teamwork when training together, taking turns to do the warm up and to give each other helpful feedback on baton passing for the relays.
They returned to school with so many individual and team trophies, including the Rosaleen Power Cup for placing first in the Under 11 relay (Áine Murphy, Polly Anna Downing, Laena Gijzel & Penny Thornton) and the Blackwater Shield for winning the most amount of points for their group in the straight races.
We are so proud of this group of athletes. Well done girls.
