The sixth class girls participated successfully in the Big Travel Challenge. They did more carpooling, walking and park and striding which reduced the amount of fuel used and was better for the environment.
To celebrate St. Brigid’s Day, we all made crosses with rushes.
For Valentine’s Day we really enjoyed doing art because we made clay hearts. We also focused on the process of making art with Gabi.
We learned the importance of safely using the internet by making posters and spreading awareness.
We had a great time by making Ferris wheels out of lollipop sticks. This was a challenging yet fun activity to do!
Our class learned a lot about engineering from engineers Anthony and Sonya. They also taught us about how Taytos keep fresh in their packets.
Sixth class received lovely gifts from the Parents Association for the Confirmation.
We had an amazing time dressing up for world book day then talking about the different characters from our books. We linked up with our buddies in second class for some shared reading too.
