Scoil Bhríde is a Presentation Convent Primary School, facilitating the development and growth of 191 pupils. Situated overlooking the mouth of the Owenabue River, Crosshaven Bay and Cork Harbour beyond, our location constantly inspires the everyday running of our school.
We strive for academic excellence, with extra curricular activities encouraged as an essential balance to our curriculum. Our teaching staff take great pride in their ability to care for the individual needs of each child and encourage the same of each child for one-another. The result? Independent and happy children that have fond memories of their school days by the sea.

At Scoil Bhríde, we are committed to creating a learning environment where every child can thrive. To strengthen this commitment, our teachers recently participated in a professional development course focused on understanding and supporting students with ADHD.
The training gave our staff valuable insights into how ADHD can affect learning, behaviour, and social interactions. More importantly, it equipped teachers with practical strategies to better support focus, organisation, and positive engagement in the classroom.
We know that every child learns differently, and this course has helped us deepen our ability to meet diverse needs with patience, empathy, and effective teaching methods.
